Let’s Get Personal

Personal Training is a one-to-one service that is exactly tailored to what you need – it’s personal. Gyms can be quite isolating and repetitive, and rely on you to set your own training plan and stick to it – the equipment can also be limiting, focusing on some areas to the exclusion of others. It’s good to mix up your workouts, and personal training allows you to do that. And it’s fun – we chat, we can change the location, make every session different. I use equipment, from resistance bands to TRX suspension, kettlebells and Pilates rings, to target particular areas and introduce variety. I like to change the pace: in one session, we might focus on the calm, measured flow of yogalates or; in another, we could go all-out in a HIIT cardio or boxing session. By mixing it up, we keep it fun, challenging and right for you – I’m really proud when clients say they look forward to seeing me.

I create a unique programme to target your goals and work with your body’s particular strengths and weaknesses. We set goals together – these might include fat loss, strength building, toning, cardiovascular conditioning, balance, coordination, stress-reduction, pregnancy and post-natal fitness, and overall physical and emotional wellbeing.

My aim is to help you build a strong foundation of positive lifestyle habits. Whether you want to feel stronger, improve your posture, increase your mobility, become leaner or alleviate aches and pains, I’m committed to finding the most effective plan to suit your needs. I can also draw on the support of a great network of collaborators, from nutritionists, physiotherapists, Osteopaths to recommended studios, to create a plan that really works for you

group pt

Grab some pals, train together and have fun! There are so many benefits to group training, from the natural camaraderie and friendly competition to push yourself that little bit harder, to the extra encouragement to keep going. It’s a chance to socialise in a way your body will thank you for.

Pregnancy and post natal PT

Pregnancy

I really enjoy helping other mums on their very special pregnancy journey. Prenatal fitness is not only about getting ready for the birth of your baby, It’s also a time where your body goes through huge changes and when particular strain is placed on different areas. Through our one-to-one sessions, we will work on strengthening the muscles that are most needed to hold the growing weight of your baby and labour, and also get the body ready for the post natal journey. We will also look to release any overactive muscles to help you feel more balanced and ready to birth your baby.

Post Natal

This is such a special time in life and I love helping support and guide new mums on how to reconnect with their bodies post birth and ultimately get them back to the activity they loved doing pre pregnancy. My sessions are tailored to each individual and include re-educating the body through Breath Work, Core Activation, Pelvic Floor Engagement or Relaxation (depending on client) using a range of Pilates Techniques and Functional Training alongside Nutrition Advice for Healing.

A strong emphasis is placed on educating my clients about the many changes within the body during pregnancy and after birth. This is to help understand why we are doing each exercise to encourage purposeful training.

I specialise in the following:

  • Diasatsis Recti Rehabilitation

  • Pelvic floor + Core Fitness

  • Rehabilitating Minor POP (Prolapse)

  • Weakened / Hyper tonic Pelvic floor

  • Exercise for Back Pain

Depending on the results from our consultation you may be asked to see one of my recommended women’s health physiotherapists for a ‘Mummy MOT’ before we start our sessions together.
