I’m Mel

I’m an experienced women’s fitness coach and Pilates instructor specialising in pre natal fitness and post natal rehabilitation. I love helping other women connect with their bodies, to empower them no matter what their ability, to move in a way that feels good for them. As well as being a women’s fitness coach for all ages an abilities, I specialise in functional fitness and Pilates during pregnancy and to prepare for birth. I also help new mums reconnect with their bodies post birth, working on strengthening/releasing the pelvic floor, diastasis recti rehab, correcting alignment to help my clients feel strong and energised again.

There is such a strong link between exercise and mental health - I help you reconnect with what your mind and body need, and get you to become aware of the messages you tell yourself. I want you to feel positive about your body and what it can do. My sessions are designed to be progressive, challenging, varied and – most importantly – fun! Afterwards, my clients say they feel more balanced, energised, strong and fit to face the challenges of their busy lives.

ONE TO ONE

I provide bespoke training sessions in the comfort of your home, whether you have your own gym, a yoga mat or nothing at all. We can also train outdoors and enjoy some fresh air in the process.

PREGNANCY & POST NATAL PT

Prenatal fitness is more than getting ready for the birth of your baby, and postnatal fitness is more than reconnecting your stomach muscles. These are times of transformative change, and part of my approach is to look at the physical and mental impact.

GROUP PT

Grab some pals, train together and have fun! There are so many benefits to group training, from the natural camaraderie and friendly competition to push yourself that little bit harder, to the extra encouragement to keep going. It’s a chance to socialise in a way your body will thank you for
